    Project Initiation

    1. Initial meeting with the project owner and other stakeholders
    2. Gather high level understanding of the business goals
    3. Summarize and Agree on the overall project goals
    4. Write the project charter and get their sign off.

    Requirement Analysis

    1. Meet with stakeholders and gather requirements 
    2. Document the requirements
    3. Present a prototype for further requirement analysis
    4. Obtain sign off from all stakeholders

    Design

    1. Design the information architecture
    2. Determine the platforms - CMS, developer tools, database choices ..
    3. Determine the UID
    4. Present the design and get sign off

    Development

    Hand the design over to the developers

    Testing/QA

    Perform testing on the website

    User acceptance testing

    usability study

    Implementation

    Maintenance/Training
