Project Initiation
- Initial meeting with the project owner and other stakeholders
- Gather high level understanding of the business goals
- Summarize and Agree on the overall project goals
- Write the project charter and get their sign off.
Requirement Analysis
- Meet with stakeholders and gather requirements
- Document the requirements
- Present a prototype for further requirement analysis
- Obtain sign off from all stakeholders
Design
- Design the information architecture
- Determine the platforms - CMS, developer tools, database choices ..
- Determine the UID
- Present the design and get sign off
Development
Hand the design over to the developers
Testing/QA
Perform testing on the website
User acceptance testing
usability study
Implementation
Maintenance/Training
